Interview

I have a friend in 3 SHS. Her full name is Maulida Isfahani Nurillah. She is my classmate in 3 Senior High School. I’ve choosen her to be my informant in my task. I really interested with her life when she was in Junior High school because of she is not like me who came from Junior High School, she came from Islamic Boarding school in Subang. I can’t imagine how is she can survive without parents during 3 years? Because of that, I interviewed her.

Me : “ Assalamualaikum Maulida. I have many questions for you. I really interested with your life when you were in Boarding school. Can I interviewed you?”

Maulida : “Waalaikumsalam. Sure”

Me : “Why are you choose Islamic Boarding School in Subang to continue your school when you have done your National examination and you got the result?  Whereas many of students want to go to 5 Junior High School, 2 Junior High School, or the others favorite school in Bandung.”

Maulida : “My parents make study in an Islamic school is a must. I am second daughter and I have one brother and one little sister.  My brother and little sister were entered Islamic school when they were in Grade School, and I’m not. I entered Margahayu grade school and that is not Islamic school. So,  I entered Islamic Boarding School for “compensation” because of I wasn’t enter Islamic school when I was in grade school.”

Me : “Ohhh.. Hmmmm. Interesting . Actually, when you are enroll yourself to Islamic Boarding School, is it your eagerness or your parents did?”

Maulida : “It can be both of us. Because of, I want entered Islamic Boarding School and my parents support me.”

Me : “Why are you choose Assyifa Islamic Boarding School?”

Maulida : “At that time, I have visited several Islamic school, but I was not find compatible school as I want. And finally I visited Assyifa Islamic Boarding School, I think Assyifa is the best school, and the distance between Subang and Bandung is not far enough, the location is surrounded by hills and the weather is good, the facility is good (minimarket, mosque, laboratory, etc.), religion is good, and the most important is overthere have tahfidz. When I saw that, I said to myself ‘I must entered Assyifa Boarding School, and I should be the student of Assyifa Boarding School”

Me : “Whoaaa you are high achiever! :)). What is the most unforgettable moment when you are in Assyifa Islamic Boarding School?”

Maulida : “All moments in there, I can’t forget. Started from I opened my eyes until I slept, when my fist time in Assyifa boarding school until I graduated from there. I surrounded by many people who have differents character and far from parents is a difficult thing, and I can be acquainted with many students in there, we played, cried, laughed, slept, or many things we do together. Kind of activities like that I can’t forget. ‘Every moment with you, is the sweetest one’. “

Me : “ Ouhhh so sweet. Your words touch my heart :’). Last but not least.. What is the difference between Junior high school and Islamic Boarding School?”

Maulida : “When the students of Junior high school finished their school and then go home for rested, but not for me. I should remembered are there still the dirty clothes or not?. When the students of JHS finished their school can do their homework or study for tomorrow, I should commit to memory the verse of Alquran. When the students of JHS after Isya prayer can join dinner with their family, I should stay in mosque or commit to memory the verse of Alquran. And many more, too many to mention. Many differencens between JHS and Islamic Boarding School. You can imagine isn’t it? Hahaha...”

Avira : “Yayaya.... I see J Okay thank you so much Maulida! Assalamualaikum”

Maulida : “Your welcome.. Waalaikumsalam”

I learned many things from her. She is a good person isn’t it?
